Last week we presented our approach to marine emission measurement at SMM 2018. Danfoss is everywhere on the ship, and Danfoss Marine presented several solutions to current industry-relevant themes. We presented our marine emission sensor as solution to the looming 2020 Sulphur regulation. Thanks to everyone stopping by!
Thursday afternoon, we also celebrated contract signing with our partner Yanmar with a signing ceremony. At the ceremony our partnership with Yanmar, global provider of marine diesel engines, was extended, supplying MES 1001 to Yanmar’s Selective Catalytic Reduction solutions.
This marks an important step in long-term relationship between Yanmar and Danfoss IXA. Danfoss IXA will be provider of emission measurement- and control equipment for Yanmar’s closed loop application of its Selective Catalytic Reduction technology, which contributes to cost efficiency in the Selective Catalytic Reduction process.
For the ceremony, Danfoss IXA was represented by Managing Director Frank Hansen, and Yanmar by Executive Officer, Procurement Division Taro Kitamura, GM Power Solutions Business Masaru Hirose and Procurement Manager James Forrester.
Danfoss IXA is delighted to take the partnership to the next level, supporting Yanmar’s production of sustainable solutions, and continuing the good relationship that has been build up throughout the years.
